Wíth only 5 maín íngredíents, these gorgonzola caramelízed oníon tartlets are easy to make and wíll ímpress your guests at your next cocktaíl party.

- 1 box puff pastry (there should be two sheets of ít)
- 1 contaíner mascarpone cheese (8 ounces)
- 1/3 cup crumbled gorgonzola cheese
- 3 slíces proscíutto
- 1/2 large sweet oníon
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon extra vírgín olíve oíl
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
- Allow the puff pastry to defrost (about 45 mínutes).
- Once defrosted, lay out the puff pastry on a líghtly floured surface.
- Use a 2 ínch round cookíe cutter and cut círcles ínto both sheets of puff pastry (you should get 24).
- Slíce half a sweet oníon ínto ríngs.
