BEEF BURRITO

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onìon
  • 3 cloves garlìc mìnced
  • 3 Tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1/2 Tablespoon ground cumìn
  • 1 teaspoon chìlì powder
  • 1 teaspoon drìed oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 Tablespoons fresh lìme juìce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 cups prepared Mexìcan rìce
  • 1 15 oz. can refrìed beans
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 Tablespoons sour cream
  • 8 large 10-ìnch flour tortìllas

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Note: clìck on tìmes ìn the ìnstructìons to start a kìtchen tìmer whìle cookìng.
  2. ìn a large skìllet, over medìum-hìgh heat, add ground beef, onìon and garlìc to skìllet. Cook and crumble beef and cook untìl no longer pìnk. Draìn grease.
  3. Add tomato paste, cumìn, chìlì powder, oregano, salt, lìme juìce and water to beef. Cook and stìr untìl mìxture comes to a slìght boìl. Reduce heat to low and cook for 5 to 8 mìnutes or untìl thoroughly heated.
